The Authority

The Albany Convention Center Authority was created in 2004 as a public benefit corporation by the enactment of Title 28-BB of the Public Authorities Law (Chapter 468 of the Laws of 2004).

The Center

The New York State Convention Center will provide our capital city with a full service, contemporary, meeting, ballroom, and exhibit venue. The new facility will, at a single 300,000 square foot location, accommodate meetings, banquets and exhibitions simultaneously via multiple entrances and levels, insuring the best visitor and exhibitor experience.
